Today’s post is all about Christmas and Holiday shopping- specifically 5 holiday gift ideas for travelers in your life. Travelers like everything- travel accessories, gift cards for travel, trips, travel size products, and anything having to do with wanderlust. To help you out (and to help my family out with gift ideas for me!) here are some things I love and things I am pining for:
1) Cute travel accessories from LCI Brands:
For the practical traveler, a passport case is a good gift idea. Is it strange I never had a passport case until last year. My passport used to get really beat up but now we are good to go!
Lewis N Clark Neck pouch from RFID– great for international backbacking trip!
Neck pillow for long flights!
Here are my Belle Hop cosmetics organizer in hot pink.
Theses cute pink cases have quickly become my favorite way to pack my cosmetics and jewelry. Very easy to use and very cute!
If any member of my family or BC would buy me a trip- weekend, week, long-term, one night- I would be a happy girl. Night in New York- yes please. Week in London- even better!
Chelsea Market in NYC:
3) Corkboard from West Elm
I saw this while shopping in Phoenix. It is a world map with push pins to mark your world travels and your world travel wish list.
4) Gift cards to our favorite ethnic restaurants
Ze Mean Bean Café- Polish/Eastern European cuisine
Restaurants in Little Italy remind me of my fond trips (and food) from my favorite city in the world- Florence. Let’s go eat Peking Duck at an authentic Chinese eatery or order schnitzel at the local German Hofbrauhouse.
5) Travel sized products
This one is the easiest gift and a good stocking stuffer. Visit the travel-sized section at Target, Sephora, Walmart- your choice. Tiny TSA approved size liquid and sample sizes are perfect for the traveler. Also if you have make-up/skincare products given as free gifts- those are perfect too. The only time I seem to ever exfoliate or use a facial cleansing mask is on vacation when I bring a bunch of samples with me. Get rid of the ones you have by giving them to a traveler- a perfect re-gift!
If you haven’t finished your holiday shopping, get out and there get it done. Hopefully I’ve inspired you to give the travelers in your life some gifts they will like.
