Family Weekend in Iowa

Last week after being suspiciously absent from the blog and social media,  I am back from spending a week in Iowa with my family. Last week my grandmother died at 99 years of age. As a family, we mourned our loss and celebrated her life simultaneously sharing memories and spending time with each other. Thanksgiving Week Staycation

My Thanksgiving Week Staycation included Monday Night Football, eating all the seafood with my family, a turkey trot, and sightseeing in Washington, DC. My mother and brother made the trip to Baltimore to celebrate Thanksgiving. They say they are coming to see me but really they are here to eat all the seafood.
