Great Oak Manor Bed and Breakfast

Last Friday I drove from Baltimore to the Great Oak Manor on the Eastern Shore of Maryland near Chestertown. The traffic-free drive was so much more enjoyable than Friday night drives to the Eastern Shore beaches in the summer! Eastern Neck Wildlife Refuge

Last weekend I was able to spend my time in the Chestertown, MD area on the Eastern Shore along the Chesapeake Bay. Outside of Chestertown, near the township of Rock Hall, there is an island called Eastern Neck National Wildlife Refuge, a birder’s paradise and waterfowl wintering spot.
