October Staycation

Since I am flying to Hong Kong early next week, I’ve been sticking close to home the past few weeks. Making the most of my free days in Baltimore has been a challenge. My day usually ends up with me blogging, running errands, going for a run, and walking the dog. Hiking Kilgore Falls, Maryland

With cooler temperatures and less crazy schedules, fall weekends are perfect for hiking with friends. Maryland has a lot of state parks and hiking trails that I’ve never explored. Kilgore Falls is part of Rocks State Park and is an easy out and back hike good for families, dogs, and friends who recently got out of a boot cast after foot surgery (my friend Sharon).
