Christmas 2014- 34th Street Hampden
Christmas Week started off with BC and I hosting a giant party. About 60 of our closest friends brought themselves, wine, food, and bourbon for a fun-filled night. The party started at 7 and the last guests left at 1:45am. I’m cooler than I thought!
We had a bourbon bar where we made Manhattans, Rusty Nails, and bourbon on the rocks. We sprung for the fancy glasses- haha!
Christmas this year for my family was in Baltimore. I got lucky and my mom and brother came to me- no crowded airports and bad weather for me!
We drove up to 34th Street in Hampden (a section of Baltimore) for their amazing Christmas light display. If you are ever in Baltimore in December drive to 34th Street at night.
You can park and walk around too but it was raining pretty hard when we went. It can get very crowded on 34th Street so be patient or go on a night when it is raining- there was hardly anyone out to see the lights.
I hope you had a great holiday! Here is our new chalkboard wall in the kitchen- chalked for the Holiday Season.
More family fun from Philadelphia is coming up next- Cheesesteaks and a refresher course in American History.
Sounds like a fun party Andrea! Glad you had a good holiday!
