Newfoundland + Wind + Ice Pellets
We are here! Cornerbrook, Newfoundland. This will probably be my only time to Newfoundland so we decided to make the best of this not-so-good weather day. It started snowing right when we got off the boat.
Cornerbrook is on the west coast of Newfoundland, St. John’s- the captial- is on the east coat. Near Cornerbrook is the Gros Morne National Park which is supposed to be really cool but it isn’t that close and it was super-cold so we stayed closer and rode around the Bay of Islands.
It was a windy day in Newfoundland. Very windy.
Ah!!!! I’m going to blow off the dock…
And then it started up with the ice pellets. Not snow anymore.
Here’s Mom looking cold at Little Harbor. All the boats were in port today because the winds were too strong for them to fish.
Newfoundland was pretty but windy. It would have been nice to see the Gros Morne and the views without ice pellets. Oh well, you can’t have all nice weather.
I was a bad little traveler today and stayed in to watch the Ravens/Cowboys. We finally had Baltimore on TV! Yay Ravens! (way to give me a heart attack!)
