Paradise Valley Burger Company Phoenix
Last month during my Christmas visit to Phoenix, my sister Megan and I did a lot of good eating. She has to take me to the airport to catch my flight home but I convinced her to leave early and hit up a Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives place that had great reviews: Paradise Valley Burger Company.
Paradise Valley Burger company is a small storefront in a strip mall that had people spilling out the door during this lunch rush. Miraculously we snagged a table right away.
The menu here is full of creative things- I opted for the Brulee burger and my sister had the beach burger. You can build your own as well in case you are a fun-hater and like boring burgers.
Paradise Valley’s brulee burger was one of my favorites- it is super messy but very, very tasty. My sister also enjoyed hers. We taste tested each others just because that is what you should do when eating out with family. I will attest that hers was delicious as well- I liked my burger the best though and she liked hers the best.
The brulee burger:
Megan did win on our side orders. She opted for the sweet potato tots while I tried the crunchy coleslaw. The tots were awesome! The coleslaw was just okay. Order some tots. Paradise Valley Burger Company also does milkshakes if you are so inclined.
I really enjoyed my meal and will be back to take my mom sometime. Make sure you work up an appetite prior to arriving. Megan and I took her kids for a short hike to work up a good hunger.
Apache Wash Trailhead Basin was our choice of hiking venue since there are some easy trails that the kids can do. That didn’t stop Aly from whining and having me carry her about half of the way, stopping for selfies when my arms got tired.
Caden and Cassie were troopers though and had a good time.
The desert scenery was a good place for a little exercise on this brisk, Phoenix morning.
