Sonoma, CA- Wine and Birthdays

A group of girls got together to go to Sonoma, CA for my friend’s 40th birthday.  I was so excited to join this trip because 1) Rebekah, the birthday girl,  is awesome! 2) Napa and Sonoma, CA have been on my bucket list for a while, and 3) I needed to get away from this cold weather in Baltimore!

Crossing the Golden Gate Bridge on our way to Sonoma:

We ended up getting a good deal on a condo through Air BNB.  Seriously if you are traveling somewhere for more than a 2 days, consider this website to find a room or condo.  My mom and I did Air BNB when we went to Florence as well.  This ended up being our place in Sonoma, about 1 mile from the main square.

It was a great little condo that had peacocks that roamed around outside.

They were friendly (-ish, they ran away if you got too close) and were not loud that I heard.

But before we made it to the condo and peacock friends we stopped in Sausalito for lunch after our flight landed in San Francisco.  Bar Bocce was our random pick based off of scenery and Yelp reviews.  Here was our view from lunch:

The food was pretty good but we the star was the warm weather and the view.

More gorgeous scenery and wine to come as we tour through Sonoma and Napa Valley, CA!
